We are starting to use Accelerated Reading (AR) as our new reading program this year. Each six weeks, students will be able to check out books from our library and then take an AR test to receive points. Students may also read books from home or the public library. Parents need to help their children make a list of books so the classroom teacher can let them test on books they have read.
Prizes will be given to the students reaching their AR goal each six weeks. If you have any questions about how we are using this program, you may contact your child's classroom teacher.
$1 Blue Jean Day -- Every Friday
Students may pay $1 to wear blue jeans each Friday. This fundraiser helps to cover the cost of supplies that we need throughout the year. Students not participating may wear their uniform bottoms.
