Dr. George Noflin, Jr, Superintendent

Dr. George Noflin, Jr., is a native of Louisiana. He was born on August 25, 1961, to Rev. and Mrs. George Noflin. He and his wife, Valerie Noflin, a Registered Nurse, are the proud parents of five children: Johnetter Sanders, Benjamin Chad, George Jerome III, Stephanie Danielle, and Phillip Anthony Joseph.
Over the past thirty years, Dr. Noflin has become a knowledgeable administrator who is diligent, conscientious, and hard working. He has served in the United States Marine Corps for a number of years. He received the United States Marine Corps Meritorious Award while serving for his country.
Dr. Noflin has spent eight years as a classroom teacher, 15 years as a coach, and 19 years as an administrator. He is a very caring and devoted individual. He and his wife have been foster parents in the past.
He received his Doctorate of Education Degree from Mississippi State University, Starkville, MS. He is currently a retired Assistant Superintendent for the Tupelo Public School District in Mississippi. His experiences of the past which include a Principal, Assistant Principal, Director of an Alternative School, Athletic Director, Teacher, and Coach have given him the knowledge and experience to properly supervise, manage, and motivate other personnel to excel in the areas of academics, athletics, and leadership.
Dr. Noflin is an active member of White Hill Missionary Baptist Church. He was recently ordained as a Deacon of the White Hill Deacon Board. Dr. Noflin serves on various boards related to his church. He is also active in his community as well as various civic organizations.
His interest and activities include the following: church functions and activities, sporting activities, fellowship of Christian athletes, fishing, community-service oriented functions, walking, and spending time with his wife and children. |
