Parent Resources

PLEASE check your child's book bag each night. We have found that students forget to give their parents very important memos and information. You might be surprised at what you will find in your child's book bag!

Homework Folder

Each child in grades Pre-K through 5 will receive a homework folder. Please check your child's homework folder each night. We will also place any parent notes in this folder.

Test Folder

For grades 1 - 5, student test folders will be sent home every Wednesday with graded test papers from the previous week. There is a sheet inside each folder for the parent to sign. This sheet has the number of test papers that should be in the folder, information about homework, and a weekly conduct grade.

Please check your child's test folder very carefully each Wednesday and go over the test papers with your child. This is the best way for you to stay informed of your child's progress.

On the back of the test folder is a copy of the Morehouse Parish grading scale (which has been revised) and a copy of the Morehouse Parish Pupil Progression Plan.

In the event that the teacher is absent on a Wednesday, the substitute will not send the test folder home. The teacher will send the test folder home on returning to school.
